My old boss called me last week regarding a prospect project so we do some catch-ups.


"Bro, how are you?"


"Still alive and kicking. What about you, kakta and the kids?"


"I'm ok. Kak Ta and the kids are not feeling well. Fever. Zahid is in Cheras Science Boarding School."


"Zahid in boarding school?"


"Yeah. He is a big boy now. Taller and bigger than me infact."



"Really? That means I'm getting old. I thought I'm 25."


"25? In your dream lah bro!"

This conversation occured around 7:15am. We are stuck in a traffic jam, on our way to Mulan's office.



"Abang, did you notice all the billboards beside the highway."



"Yeah, why?"



"Why are they using foreign faces as the model? Like there's not enough Malaysian people here to be the ads model huh?"



"I agree. Do they think Malaysian faces are not commercial enough?"

me: "do you want to take my camera along with you to Brunei?"

mulan: "yeah! thanks!"

me: "but the small one ya?"

mulan: "i want the big black box!"

me: "no you can't"

mulan: "oh so you're more concern about the camera than me?"

me: "no, it's not that. i'm very concern... that you gonna spoil my camera!"

she's going outstation to Brunei next week to wrap up her project. anyone organizing a party this week?
