I’m allergic to this one particular delicacies. A very famous and one of the delicious food in Malaysia. It is called Satay (or sate). You can find it almost anywhere in the country.


Satay is consist of slices of dice-sized meat (chicken, goat, mutton, beef, rabbit, etc.) on bamboo skewers. They are grilled over a wood or charcoal fire, then served with sliced onion, sliced cucumber, ketupat (a savoury rice cake wrapped in woven coconut leaves) and nuts-based seasonings.


I'm so allergic to it that I can't smell the sweet aroma of satay. If my nose catch the sizzling smell, i must have it take away for dinner!
